Are You Ready for Sweater Weather?!

Summer is over, school has started, and the fall weather is right around the corner! The Autumn Equinox is this Friday, which marks the official beginning of fall. September is the best month of the year (in my opinion) and there are so many opportunities for fun activities you won’t want to let pass you by!

September weather is still warm enough for fun outdoor activities, but can get cool enough outside for you to wear your favorite comfy sweater. There is no combination better than that! This month you might want to try squeezing in the last of your outdoor activities while you still can. Some fall favorites are pumpkin picking, apple picking, a nice walk along the boardwalk of one of Long Island’s many beaches, a day trip to a winery and/or brewery, as well as getting in your last minute games of outdoor mini golf!

Besides September’s perfect weather, it also marks the start of all things pumpkin! For an avid pumpkin lover, such as myself, this is the best news all year… literally! Below are some awesome recipes to help you get into the spirit of the season!
